DUTIES

We are looking for team members who are committed to providing excellent customer service and who understand the importance of making every customer experience at the park a positive one.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Lifeguard duties on the Aqua Park – this includes helping customers onto the equipment, looking out for dangerous behaviours, assisting anyone who suffers an injury including CPR, assisting with setting up and packing up for the day and season, not being afraid of getting wet as you will be working in all types of weather.

General park duties including but not limited to daily cleaning such as sweeping, mopping,cleaning obstacles on park, helping in the ticket kiosk or canteen, putting away equipment and general park maintenance. These general duties will form a MAJOR part of your work. Enthusiastically assisting all customers across all activities provided at the park.

QUALIFICATIONS

Due to strict Business Insurance Policies all staff must have or must be willing to obtain the either Bronze Medallion or pool Lifeguard Certificate prior to the opening of the Aqua Park in November 2022 at their own expense. This course is conducted by Royal Lifesaving(Please look on their website for dates.)and First Aid.

Be willing to undertake any duties required of them in a professional manner. Must be available to work on weekends,school holiday periods and Public Holidays over Christmas.

Must be able to obtain reliable transport to Chifley Dam. Hours will vary as summer progresses, but it is expected that you will be available to work any rostered shifts during our peak period (Xmas School Holidays).
